Avalon Organics: Vitamin C Renewal Refreshing Cleansing Gel & Balancing Toner

Anyone check out Avalon Organics? I was browsing through the line a month or so ago and than I randomly got some to test out so it kinda worked out rather ironically.

Avalon Organics Vitamin C Collection is a range of specialty skin care products that deliver active protection against aging caused by sun exposure with a synergistic complex of powerful antioxidants. Beyond protection, these organically enriched formulations nourish and hydrate sun-exposed skin for a soft, even complexion.

Vitamin C Skin Care is formulated without pore-clogging mineral oil, petrolatum or propylene glycol and are free from parabens, artificial colors and synthetic fragrances. This is a plus point for me always!

I tried out Avalon Organics Vitamin C Refreshing Cleansing Gel and Avalon Organics Vitamin C Balancing Facial Toner and so far I like them both.

Both have a bright orange-y scent which is quite pleasant however those sensitive to smell do take a little sniffle prior to purchasing. The cleanser is a simple gel formula which lathers up. The gel is pretty nice as it doesn’t dry my skin out nor does it leave me feeling tight after use. The toner is equally pleasant and is loaded with Vitamin C which seems to have brightened up my dull skin a fair bit with constant use. And this is a budget friendly product too.

Final Thoughts….
If you’re looking for affordable organic skincare Avalon Organics has some fine offerings on the cheap.

Have you tried anything from Avalon Organics?
Do share!

Happy Weekend!! Lots of Love Diana

Elisha Coy: Skin Repairing Snail Eye Balm Wrinkle-care & Whitening

Hi my beauty buddies, I'm back!!! Sorry for my lack of post lately... feeling lazy and tired recently but I'm back today and will be reviewing an Eye Balm by Elisha Coy a Korean Brand. The packaging is quite big for just 15g/0.52 oz of product, but it does looks pretty and it comes with a spatula for a more hygienic way of scooping out the balm.

I love that the company have given some thought of sealing the products and keeping them more hygienic too...

ElishaCoy Skin Repairing Snail Eye Balm uses ingredients such as 40% snail slime extract, Nobel Prize-winning EGF, and Royal Jelly to make it an effective 2 in 1 whitening and anti-wrinkle eye cream.  These extracts improve skin elasticity, moisturize, and brighten delicate eye skin, making eyes appear more vibrant. Its concentrated formula of high-protein ingredients improves resilience around the eyes while stimulating blood circulation to relieve dark circles. Plus its lightweight and quick absorbing formula leaves skin with a non-sticky finish.

Flourine and Haloxyl fight the causes of pigmentation by controlling free oxygen radicals, keeping your skin moisturized, bright, and vibrant.

Patented blend of 8 special plant extracts increases your skin's elasticity and moisturizes the skin.

Benefits:
  • Anti-aging
  • Brightens
  • Moisturizes
  • Reduces Puffiness
That is what the company claims that the product would help to do.

I have been using it for more then a month now and I do like the texture which is light, adsorbs fast and well yet I feel moisturized. As for effectiveness – snail creams are generally known for its regeneration properties and calming properties. They are very effective in calming the skin especially when you have acne, etc and can be used on sensitive skin without any problems.

A great eye balm and this peek my interests in trying more brand that uses snail slime extract.
What do you think?

P.S. All Snail Creams are rather good – and there are so many snail creams in the market right now. Therefore my advice is for you to look at their ingredient lists properly before purchasing them! It is an above average product.

XOXO Diana
