Innisfree Jeju Cedar Wood Hand Cream

I have never like putting on hand creams they always make my hands feel so greasy. I know I have to make an effort to do so because it is easy to tell your age by your how your hands looks. However, after trying the Innisfree Jeju Cedar wood Hand Cream  I was so pleasantly surprised that I felt the need to share with you all!

Innisfree is a Korean beauty brand, store is located at Takashimaya in Singapore. It is a natural brands that delivers the benefits of nature from pristine island of Jeju.

Innisfree: Jeju Cedar Wood Hand Cream (SGD $6/30ml) is a hand cream that melts on the hands to provide moisture with a refreshing and light fragrance of Jeju Cedar Wood. It doesn't feel greasy or oily and adsorbs into the skin easily. The scent is simply amazing and same goes to all their other 9 (I think) different scent.

Their packaging is so simple but chic and their mini tubes of hand creams have become an essential in my handbag. I can see myself repurchasing different fragrances in the near future.

Have you try any yet? I do highly recommend to to try some. Any other favourite hand cream that you like to share with us? Please leave a comment telling us what you like.

Spa Paradisa Lip Butters: Juicy Passionfruit & Sweet Coconut & Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm

My lips have always been a nightmare with such sensitive and dry peeling lips I always keep either a Lip Butter or Lip Balm constantly by my side. There is a variety of Lip butters & Lip Balms at hand to choose from and recently I just discover some new Lip Butters by Spa Paradisa.

They come in a lovely cute round tins, featuring exotic Polynesian-style pictures with nice bright colors and the other thing that will instantly perk you up is the fragrance. They comes in 2 gorgeous fruity flavours Juicy Passionfruit and Sweet Coconut. Pick them up in our Singapore local drugstore 'Watson'  for just SGD $2.50 each.

These are made with shea butter and contains vitamin E. What they don't contain is artificial colours and Parabens. It didn't feel sticky and keeps my lips moisturized during the day.

After a long day and a relaxing shower I brought out an oldie but a goodie right before bedtime I will slap on the Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm (SGD $16 from Sephora)  on my lips overnight. This beautifully gold package and aromatic lip balm with natural Beewax and a secret blend of strawberry flavours. This product is formulated to aid in protecting and moisturizing the lips, cuticles, and elbows. A rich intense treatment leaving my lips very moisturized and smooth without feeling greasy or sticky. I have already got another tin for backup. It is really that good.

Have a nice day! Tata ~

Bifesta Cleansing Lotion (Micellar Water)

Micellar Water has been around for ages (seen them before about 10 years back), just that it is not that well known at that time. Ever since Bioderma appeared in U Tube and the beauty blogging world it is been one of a very hype up product.

Before Bioderma appear in Singapore I have been using my trust-worthy Bifesta Cleansing Lotion to remove my makeup and always come back to it after testing and trying out so many other cleansing/removers products!

The packaging is very simple and comes with a pump which is very convenient. There are a few other different types for different skin types, the one I have been using is for oily skin to control oil.

Bifesta Cleansing Lotion: (Sebum) (SGD $16.90 for 300ml) is a water-based, Non-rnse makeup remover which contains Green Tea Extract for pore tightening and retains more moisture then normal Hyaluronic acid. With new plus-ion hyaluronic acid (main component) help retain more moisture on the skin even after rinsing off with water. It does not dry out my skin or makes my skin feels tight and still removes even my water-proof eye makeup without stinging or irritate my eyes.

I am not a believer of makeup wipes, the best way to protect your skin is still use a good makeup remover, follow by cleanser then tone & moisturizes. I always believe "one cannot be lazy if you want to be beautiful because there aren't any ugly women but only lazy women!"

Overall it is a great product and a must try which I'll give it a 5 star. In singapore it is easily found in Watson(drugstore), Guardian(drugstore) or selected supermarkets, for International ladies sorry I am not sure where you can find them in your country.

What other makeup removers do you like? Please do leave a comment.
Have a great day! XOXO!

I am back again my lovely ladies with the 2 Eau De Toilette from Victoria's Secret as promised.

But was just too lazy to go get a Travalo and refill and all that crap. So I simply bought 2 small 30ml/ 1 fl oz Eau De Toilette to chuck inside my bag in case I need a spritz of the lovely scent when on the go and since it is on sale I got 2.

Michael Todd True Organics: Intensive Organic Cream Eye Treatment with Haloxyl + Eyeliss

I love Michael Todd's products especially when they are

  • Made in USA
  • Made with organic ingredients
  • No added water
  • No parabens, triclosan, phthalates or sulfates
  • No mineral oil, artificial or synthetic fragrance
  • No animal testing (products are tested on their chairman)
Michael Todd True Organics: Intensive Organic Cream Eye Treatment with Haloxyl & Eyeliss (USD $38) is 90% organic advanced eye treatment with Haloxyl and Eyeliss developed in Europe to reduce eye-bags and dark circles. Together they work with other ingredients to fight signs of premature eye aging, supports elastin and collagen production to help the skin in the eye area "bounce back" instead of sagging and wrinkling.

I am not exactly impress with this eye cream at all, I have love quite a few of their products and have been using it for quite a while now. But sadly I really do not like this eye cream at all. It does nothing at all, the consistency is a bit watery and feels oily under my eye. I can feel the oiliness the next morning, it just seems to sit on top of my under eyes and never really adsorbs into the skin at all. The applicator seems to just "shoots" out all over the place even if I try to pump it out lightly.

Overall it is a NO NO for me and I would not ever repurchase it. I have an oily combination skin with dry under eyes area but is just leaves my under eyes oily and doesn't moisturize at all.
Have you tried this eye cream? What do you think of it? Or do you have any recommendations? Do leave a comment below and share your thoughts.

Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner: Bare

If I am not wrong there are only a few brands that brings in nude liner to Singapore. What I have seen is glitter, shimmery or white liner for our waterline which seems to be the trend here. Don't get me wrong I do respect what others liked but it is just a NO NO for me.

It looks totally wrong and unnatural with a stark white or a shimmery liner on the waterline with yellow or darker skin-tone and it doesn't seems to brighten the eye area or create a more awake look at all.

I search high and low in Sephora just to find out that there are only 3 brands that carry nude liners. Hopefully I remember correctly but am pretty sure there is not many brands that carries it. That is why I am so envious of the people living in USA where there is so much choices, besides that it is also cheap to buy makeup or beauty products.

*SIGH*I will just stop complaining and tell you what I think of Smashbox: Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner (Bare) (SGD $?? update later) is a waterproof and always sharp every time I take the cap off, just twist the cap a few times. That makes it very convenient and easier to not waste any product and get a precise line. But I wouldn't say that it is waterproof as my eyes always tear up easily. But it does last a lot longer then the Sephora Brand nude long lasting kohl pencil. Would still need to touch up once every 3- 4 hours. It is creamy and glides on easily without tugging, as for the color it looks exactly like a concealer.

I think I might try the Tarte's nude liner next and will surely tell u gals  how it goes!
So long and farewell for now!!
XOXO

Natures Organics: Fruits - Apple Fresh Balancing Conditioner

I discovered this really affordable hair conditioner in our local Singapore supermarket NTUC at Boon Lay Shopping Centre. I am pretty bummed that I can't find it at other local Singapore NTUC supermarket and I wonder why? Anyway lets stop grumbling and get started to a short intro about Natures Organics.

Natures Organics is 100% Australian made and owned and they have 10 other Brands under their company. Fruits is just one of them. They are Cruelty Free and have Eco-Sensitive Formulations with their products.

Nature Organics: Fruits Apple Fresh Balancing Conditioner (SGD $2.15) is enriched with proteins (wheat proteins and lecithin) to revitalize, add health and shine to normal hair and is ideal for frequent use that leaves your hair with a refreshing apple fragrance. Their formulas are combines with today's technology with plant-derived ingredients. It is not a thick conditioner and it is pretty light weight which did not weight down my fine hair and it is great that it detangles them too. That makes it easier to brush out my hair afterwards. The scent is quite strong but very refreshing.

Overall it is a great, extremely cheap and affordable product but the CONS is that is only available in one place. I will definitely repurchase (already my 3rd bottle) and try out more of their other products soon.

Do you have any other affordable and great conditioner to share with us? Please do leave a comment below to let us know.

    Victoria's Secret Bombshell Perfume

Victoria's Secret has been in Singapore for quite sometime now and its my first time getting their perfume. Bombshell is what my hubby got me for a Valentine's day gift, since I have been eyeing on it for quite a few months. Firstly I am not a fan of scents that are too sickly sweet or has too much vanilla in it and I do prefer a stronger musky/woody scent, so this is great for me.

Victoria's Secret: Bombshell (SGD $110 for 100ml/3.4 fl oz) is describe as a sexy fruity floral type of fragrance.

    • Top Notes: Tangelo, Pineapple, Strawberry, Purple Passion Fruit
    • Middle Notes: Jasmine, Red Berries, Muguet, Shangri-la Peony, Vanilla Orchid
    • Dry-down Notes: Musk, Blonde Woods, Oakmoss

The fragrance stays and last well on me for an 8 hour wear which is pretty good, now a days most fragrances will disappear immediately soon after I step out of the door. The packaging is sweet, girly and a bit chic which would appeal to a lot of females out there.
There are still a lot of different fragrances to choose from at Victoria's Secret if you are not keen Bombshell so don't worry and I am pretty sure to will like at least one from them. (P.S. Already got another 2bottles of their travel friendly 30ml/1 fl oz of Eau De Toilette fragrances and I can't wait to share with you gals out there what I got!)
Which is your favorite fragrances/products from Victoria's Secret?
      Till then,
      Have a nice day all!!

Michael Todd True Organics: Wild Rose Petal Creamy Body Wash

I got this Michael Todd Wild Rose Petal Creamy Body Wash at their online website: http://www.michaeltoddtrueorganics.com

Michael Todd True Organics claims that their products are

    • Made in USA
    • Made with organic ingredients
    • No added water
    • No parabens, triclosan, phthalates or sulfates
    • No mineral oil, artificial or synthetic fragrance
    • No animal testing (products are tested on their chairman)
Wild Rose Petal Creamy Body Wash (USD $14) is made with 70% organic ingredients, rose-hip oil combines with sunflower, olive and jojoba oils and lavender and chamomile to provide a moisture-rich wash. Added tea tree oil and acai provide antioxidant and antimicrobial deodorant protection and aid in the treatment of blemishes.

I find that the consistency is watery gel like and with quite a strong scent of roses. Those people who do not like rose-scented products might not like it. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated after your shower. But the price point is a bit expensive for just 300ml/10.1 fl oz of product.

I am not that fussy about my body wash and would not repurchase unless I absolutely love the scent.
Overall it is a great product and I like that it is natural without chemicals and they do not test on animals which is always a plus for me.

That's all I have for today, have a lovely day all!

Bath and Body Works in Singapore (Mini Haul)

Yes! Bath & Body Works is finally in Singapore and it is first in Asia! The shop is located in Marina Bay Sands at B2-42.  The price-point wouldn't be as good as in the USA (Prices in Singapore are extremely high in general I think) but at least it is in Singapore now. There won't be a full range of their products and certain scent/products I got from D.Y.O.N International from Scape that imports some of the scent/products and some other International Brands.

Both from D.Y.O.N International not seen/available in Bath & Body Works(Singapore)

The gentle foaming hand soap is enriched with exclusive blend of moisturizing honey, coconut milk and olive fruits extracts to nourish and soften skin with further enhanced mango fruit extract, leaving hands lightly scented, gently cleansed and conditioned while fighting germs.
Bath & Body Works: Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap (Fresh Picked Sweet Clementine) (SGD $10 @ D.Y.O.N International) is just a sweet citrus scent.
Bath & Body Works: Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap (Coconut Lime Verbena) (SGD $10 @ D.Y.O.N International) its scent is described as - An island blend of zesty lime, lemon verbena and coconut water.

I love most of their candles except those bakery scents (I prefer the real scent in a real bakery and generally I just don't like them in candles or lotions for my preferences) and my favorite candle would always be
Bath & Body Works: 3-Wick Candle (Mahogany Teakwood) (SGD $32 @ Bath & Body Works) the scent is described as - Revel in the cozy fine woods fragrances of mahogany, cedar wood and oak, highlighted by delicate lavender and geranium notes.
The smell of Abercrombie & Fitch store or simply a cologne smell. I already have a backup and its something that I would not like to run out. Heehee!
I got their fragrances mist and 2 body lotion at their 3 for SGD $48 promotion.
Bath & Body Works: Fine Fragrance Mist ( Sensual Amber) (SGD $22) is with a conditioning aloe mist that nourishes skin for the lightest and most refreshing ways.
    • Top Notes: Bergamot, Wild Berries, Succulent Plum
    • Mid Notes: White Rose, Orange Flower, Lotus Petals, Iris
    • Dry Notes: Amber, Creamy Sandalwood, Vanilla, Patchouli, Praline, Musk
Their enhanced body lotion is infused with Shea Butter and daily moisture complex of Vitamin E, Aloe and Vitamin B5 and with a non-greasy formula that absorbs quickly leaving the skin feels soft and smooth.
Bath & Body Works: Body Lotion (Moonlight Path) (SGD $ ?? update later) the scent is described as - sheer lavender, lily of the valley and with soft musk.
Bath & Body Works: Body Lotion (Country Chic) (SGD $ ?? update later) the scent is described as - sparkling lemon, golden sunflower and with amber wood.

I love most of their products and scents and I am sure I would run out for more of their Fine Fragrance Mist and candles soon! What is your favorite or what would you get? Do leave a comment telling me what you love.

Nars Light Reflecting Setting Powder - Pressed

I have been searching for Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder and until I saw somebody on U Tube mentioning that it has a similar concept to the Nars Light Reflecting Setting Powder. Not sure how similar they are since I could not get Hourglass any where in Singapore to compare with the Nars one I got.

Now lets get on and start with the Nars Packaging, its slim and sleek with a nice size mirror but the cons: is the rubbery texture of the packaging easily attracts dust and residue of powder that is left on your hands, it comes with a very thin sponge and a small pouch to keep the compact in.

Nars Light Reflecting Setting Powder - Pressed: Translucent Crystal (SGD $50) is a weightless, silky translucent powder that creates a soft matte finish that looks luminous in any like for all skintones. Nars claims that fine lines, wrinkles, and pores optically fade as skin visibly smoothed. It looks stark white with pearly sheen and the texture is creamy and very smooth. Do not worry, it holds true to its translucent claim and disappear into the skin.

I didn't expect that it really works but guess what!? It does! The powder is infused with Photochromic Technology, which diffuses light and adjusts to new source of light throughout the day. It is formulated without Parabens.  Too bad it does not hold up very well to my oily combination skin and would have to touch up constantly especially on my extreme oily T-Zone.

I prefer this pressed version to the loose version because I do not have to handle the messiness and it is more convenience to carry around in my purse/bag.

Do you prefer the pressed or loose version? And why?

    YSL Multi-Action Concealer

I have been constantly trying new concealers since I learn about them when I started putting on makeup. I have natural dark eye circles that are inherited from my family.
I came across this YSL Multi-Action Concealer while trying some other new lipsticks in their counter. So naturally I took this opportunity to try something new. Always wanted to try a high-end concealer stick so here is my chance. Needless to say, YSL products are always  beautifully package.

YSL Multi-Action Concealer: Ivory Beige (#1) (SGD $50) consistency is very creamy, smooth and easy to blend. Has a high coverage due to its high pigmentation. Only had 4 colors to choose from, I settled for the lightest with a peachy tone. Their Nude Beige (#2) was a bit too dark for me. The range of colors is not very impressive and I wish that they have a bit more colors to choose from.

I used this more to highlight, I'm really fond that it's creamy, opaque yet it doesn't settle into any fine lines but needs to set with a powder. It last fairly well through out the day and is great that I can just chuck it in my makeup bag to carry it on the go for touch ups because it is so compact. Not the best value for money as it only contains 2grams. Only check this out if you are looking for convenience or your budget allows it. For the price I would't recommend it, when there are a lot of great concealers out there in the market now that is much more pocket friendly.

Have a great day ladies! See you next time for my next post!!

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain: Rouge Gouache (#11) and Rose Pastelle (#18)

Left: YSL Glossy Stain: Rouge Gouache (#11) Right: YSL Glossy Stain: Rose Pastelle (#18)

Happy Sunday everyone!! Lets dive in straight for another YSL reviews.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres, is not a exactly a lipstick, not exactly a gloss, but it is a liquid glossy lipstick stain. A lip product that combines the texture and shine of a gloss with the long wear of a stain. It is formulated without
                                                                            - Parabens
      - Phthalates
The applicator has a slanted tip with soft short bristles. There is a slight fragrance but not over powering, during application the consistency feels very pleasant, watery, cooling, and after the application the finish looks very glossy.

What do you look for in lip products?

The most important factor for a lip product to me is not drying out my lips, I have very sensitive lips and have a tenancy to peel and flake. With that said, well done YSL! My lips stayed well hydrated and wears off after 5 - 6 hours to beautiful natural stain on my lips.

Left: YSL Glossy Stain: Rouge Gouache (#11) Right: YSL Glossy Stain: Rose Pastelle (#18)

YSL Glossy Stains: Rouge Gouache (#11) (SGD $45) is a bright vibrant red with a slight blue undertone. It glides on smoothly like a dream and is very opaque with just one swipe. The consistency starts out watery but develops into a slight tacky gel-like formula after 5 minutes. It leaves a beautiful stain by the end of the day.
YSL Glossy Stains: Rose Pastelle (#18) (SGD $45) is a pastel light pink quite similar to their Rouge Volupte Lipstick: Lingerie Pink. I might not be so lucky with this shade, on my lip it looks patchy, sticky and uneven. Just could not get it to apply evenly! It seemed to stick, settle patchy and doesn't leave any stain (seems that all light colors doesn't leave any stains), I was quite disappointed and was not impress with this color at all. It just didn't work out as well as Rouge Gouache (#11).

    Rouge Gouache (#11)

    Rose Pastelle (#18)

Overall, YSL Glossy Stain is an incredible product, the light comfortable wear, the glossy finish, the amazing wear time, etc but just avoid the light pastel shades.

Have you tried them? Would love to hear your thoughts if you have and please a comment below!

    Bobbi Brown Blush: Apricot (#6)

This Apricot blush from Bobbi Brown is different from many of the other Apricot blushes around but it makes me love it more. When you think of Apricot, people will usually think more on peachy yellow/orange tone. But Bobbi Brown's version looks more of a dark pink.

It comes in a sleek, black, window flip top, plastic casing. The packaging is fairly thin and small, so it is  easy to travel with. The blush can be de-potted to a customized Bobbi Brown's palette.

Bobbi Brown Blush: Apricot (#6) (SGD $43) is dark pink with a matte finish, it gives a perfect natural flush to the cheeks. The silky formula glides on smoothly without looking powdery, and has a great pigmentation  so a little goes a long way. Extremely long lasting color that stays put for a good 8 hours on my oily combination skin.

Bobbi Brown has always been one of my favorite Makeup artist ever since I've graduated from a professional makeup school, so far I haven't been disappointed with her line of makeup and am willing to splurge.

So tell me, what would you splurge on if you are given an option? Do share your thoughts through the comments below.

Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lip Cream: I Want Candy

I have been very curious about Too Faced La Creme lipsticks, I'm a fan of cream lipsticks but I find that most creams not moisturizing enough. Oh Gosh! I guess I finally found one that is really moisturizing. The La Creme formula is creamy. It felt like a balm with good colour payoff and a glossy finish. There is a light scent but not over powering.

These lippies comes in a weighty slim gold tube, and have a classy, elegant look.

Too Faced La Creme: I Want Candy (SGD $32) is described as raspberry rose and pigmentation is excellent with just a single swipe. It feels incredibly light weight simply glides on like butter onto the lips, maybe is because the formula includes peptides for smoothing and conditioning for the lips. It tends to last 2-3 hours on me which is normal, as most creamy lipsticks don't last too long due to the slip.

Too Faced did a great job with their La Creme lipsticks, Highly recommend checking these out and I'm sure you 'll love them.

Definitely would picking up more of them. What colours do you think I should get? Lollipop? One of the new colours that is launch in the USA Spring 2014. Got to get them online if Sephora Singapore is not bringing in the new colours.

    Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

First off I never tried the old formulation of Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation therefore I cannot comment on it. Its kind of weird that I never try their double wear foundation. I have been a life-long customer and was never disappointed with any of their products, I would always pass it up every time I went by.

I have been hunting for a matt foundation that can hold up well with my extremely oily T-zone and combat the very humid/hot Singapore environment, I sweat buckets whenever I am not in an air-conditioned place/room or without a fan blowing. Finally I caved and bought it after many reviews on U Tube.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup: 1W1BONE 17 (SGD $58)  has a remarkable staying power with SPF 10 and will not transfer/smudge on clothes, not sure about the 15 hours claim but it lasted around 8-9 hours on me with my makeup base and setting spray. I just need to blot my T-zone once during the mid-day. Usually my face would look pretty oily and worn off after I reach home, I was very surprise that it held up pretty darn good. It doesn't look cakey at all. For a flawless full coverage I would just need 1 pump for my entire face with my beauty blender. Most foundations will oxidize on me but not with this one.

I have been loving this foundation,  it has already surpass my Relvon Colorstay Liquid Foundation and has become my 'holy grail' matte foundation.

    What are your favourites?

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation with the Airbuki Bamboo powder foundation Brush

After having 2 blushes from Tarte Amazonian Clay Line I was so ready and excited to try more products from the same line. And OMG I am so happy that I did, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. After many years of searching and I had my fair share of mineral and loose powder but everything is just okay and wasn't fascinated by any of them. But this time is different, I just can't put into words how I feel!

It also has a special brush, the Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush, that is made to go with the powder foundation.

Tarte scores!! The packaging is  simple, natural and earthy. With the custom mesh delivery system, it is foolproof and you will have a mess-free application.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation: Fair Honey (fair skin with peach undertones) (SGD $58)  has a medium but build-able coverage on me, I will say that it doesn't cover up my hyper-pigmentation and my dark under eyes perfectly and I would need to put on a little concealer underneath first. With my extreme oily combination skin, combine with the very hot, humid Singapore's weather I still need a good primer and setting spray. It looks great on the skin by the end of the day. The finish is semi-matte and natural, doesn't look powdery or dry out the skin and will not cling to dry patches. Did I mention that I love the soft texture of the powder as well.
Tarte claims that the Amazonian Clay is enriched with he earth's natural, light-reflecting gemstones (Tourmaline,Pearl Powder, Etc), this moisture-rich powder buffs on smoothly for a waterproof, 12-hour coverage.
Tarte Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush (SGD $43)  has very soft, dense and shorter bristles with a sturdy bamboo handle. Just gently push the brush into the mesh sifter and buff the powder onto the skin in circle motions until desired coverage is achieved. I really love and enjoy the brush as it works very well with my other mineral powder or powder foundations too. If you don't have a somewhat flat-top brush already I do suggest you can check it out in store and get it. I promise you won't regret getting it!!

I love Tarte and it has become my new favorite go to natural brand in Singapore! Sephora, *Praying* please bring in more products from Tarte!

Do you have any other recommendations?! Definitely feel free to leave a comment and let me know!!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush: Glisten and Exposed

    Left: Glisten Right: Exposed
    Left: Glisten Right: Exposed

My love affair with Tarte began since I found their Amazonian 12-hour blush and since they are one of the few cosmetics brands that uses natural, eco friendly ingredients I love them even more. Tarte claims that their products are ALWAYS formulated without:

    • Parabens
    • Mineral oil
    • Phthalates
    • Triclosan
    • Sodium lauryl sulfate
    • Gluten
    • Synthetic fragrances
    • Petrochemicals
    • GMOs
and best of all its CRUELTY FREE!!!

It is great to have another brand you can find in Singapore that is natural and beneficial to the skin. With the Amazonian Clay Line they even claims that the nutrient-rich Amazonian clay neutralizes complexion, balances skin, wears better, has 12 hour lasting power and a truer color.

    Left: Glisten Right: Exposed

I like their simple yet colorful and fun packaging. The color of the packaging reflects the color of the blush inside which makes this really useful for us who have different shades as we can spot the color we want in our stash and it comes with a pretty good size mirror too!
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush: Glisten (SGD $45) is a peachy pink with very fine gold shimmers and looks great without wearing highlighter even. It is very long wearing as it claims and it is very easy to blend without fall out, but you got to be careful a tiny bit goes a long way as it is very pigmented.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush: Exposed (SGD $45) is a matte muted nude pink that is perfect for everyday wear. Long wearing, easy to blend without fall out and great color payoff as usual.

Both are versatile and would compliment any looks and its so long wearing even on my extreme oily-combination skin. I'm thinking of getting my hands on a few more, hope that Sephora in Singapore would bring in some of the newer shades from USA.

Do you own any Tarte blushes? I do highly recommend to get at least one as it would be a great investment on such a good quality blush! Or do you have anything in mind?

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipsticks: Fuchsia In Rage (#19) Versus YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks: Fuchsia Tourbillon (#31)

Left: Rouge Volupte Shine: Fuchsia In Rage (#19) Right: Rouge Volupte: Fuchsia Tourbillon (#31)

I just love my YSLs, I simply love their packaging especially it looks extremely classy, elegant and luxe. I always feel very special when using them.
Rouge Volupte Shine: Fuchsia In Rage (#19) (SGD $48) is a fuchsia with a purple undertone and with a glossy shine. It had a semi-opaque coverage where the natural lip color came through slightly. If you always wanted to try a purple you can definitely try this tone down shade. It glides on smoothly and feel extremely comfortable like a lip balm.
Rouge Volupte : Fuchsia Tourbillon (#31) (SGD $48) is more of a bright pinky coral on me. It is pigmented and fully opaque color with a creamy finish on the lips. The formula is very creamy with a high degree of slip and its slightly thicker then the average lipstick.

    -Please excuse my dry lips-

The wear of both formula is around 2 to 3 hours on me, I have extremely sensitive lips always prone to chapping and flaking with most of the brands even after putting on lip balm.

Do you have anything in mind or which to get yet?

YSL Gloss Volupte Lipgloss: Fuchsia Vermeil (#4)

YSL has launch their new released gloss formula Gloss Volupte in Singapore and I have always been captivated by their packaging since I have always been a big fan of beautifully package product. The gloss is lightweight, comfortable to wear and most importantly not sticky. There are 3 available finishes: Golden(warm glimmer of gold flecks), Iridescent(pearlescent flecks) and Pure(no shimmer).
With a unique applicator it really glides and smooths over the lips easily. They have a sweet mango scent and hydrating. I have always love glosses with shimmers.
Fuchsia Vermeil (#4) finish: Golden (SGD $45) is a light fuchsia with pink and gold shimmers with a slight raspberry undertone. It has a semi-opaque,even coverage. Please excuse my dry chapped lips(eww.) which has always been very sensitive.

I love this new line of glosses and I might run out and get a few more. Did you purchase anything from this line or do you have anything in mind?
