Tarte: Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette (Holiday 2014)

We finally got Tarte's blush palette this year in Singapore.. I'm so happy and excited... since I love their blushes so much of course I would get them. The packaging looks real pretty in gold like a clutch but it is a bit bulky for my taste. Never the less I still love what is inside... the actual product itself of cause.

 It comes with 2 very pretty vintage inspired hairpins.

Tarte Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette (SGD $59 for 0.79 oz.) includes five shades of blush ranging from brown to peach to plum. Each blush is 0.158 oz. and a full-sized blush is 0.20 oz. and you’ll get to try five shades. I liked that there was a variety of finishes, and a decent spectrum of shades from beige to plum to coral. 

1. Breathless - Pinky Beige - It’s a rosy beige with subtle, warm undertones and a satin-matte finish. There’s a smidgen of “glow” the more you buff and blend out the powder on the skin, but it’s primarily a matte finish.
2. Embraced - Plummy Rose - It’s a medium-dark, cool-toned berry pink with a frosted finish. It had great color payoff.
3. Whimsy - Light Pink - It’s a cool-toned, light-medium pink with a semi-matte finish. It had good pigmentation with a soft but powdery texture.
4. Bashful - Rosy Peach -  It’s a medium, pink-coral with warm undertones and a soft, golden shimmer-sheen. It had nice color payoff.
5. Irreplaceable - Mauve Rose - It’s a medium-dark, rosy pink with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish.

I had been a fan of Tarte's blushes for quite some time now which is no secret and there is really nothing bad or wrong I can find here with this palette. This is a great value for money Holiday set (its almost nearly the same amount you'll be paying like in the USA) Grab it if you can find it because I really think it is worth paying.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Mini Blush: Peaceful

Alright I got to admit my love affair with Tarte blushes is still going strong and slowly growing. I have got another one, this time it it a mini one. Look at the comparison, its so cute right?! The normal size is 5.6g/ 0.20 oz and the mini is 1.5g/ 0.05 oz.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush: Peaceful (SGD $12 for 1.5g/0.05 oz @ Sephora Singapore) is a peachy coral shade with very fine gold shimmers/glitters and looks great even without hightlighter. Always very long wearing for this line of blushes and it is soft, easy to blend, without fall-out and great pigmentation as usual. This would be a great summer shade. (not really sure whether it is a limited edition shade a not.)

How I wish I could get my hands on the more darker shades like Flushed, seems that it isn't available in Singapore might have to double check with Sephora next time.

My love affair with Tarte began since I found their Amazonian 12-hour blush and since they are one of the few cosmetics brands that uses natural, eco friendly ingredients I love them even more. Tarte claims that their products are ALWAYS formulated without:

It is great to have another brand you can find in Singapore that is natural and beneficial to the skin. With the Amazonian Clay Line they even claims that the nutrient-rich Amazonian clay neutralizes complexion, balances skin, wears better, has 12 hour lasting power and a truer color.

I like their simple yet colorful and fun packaging. The color of the packaging reflects the color of the blush inside which makes this really useful for us who have different shades as we can spot the color we want in our stash and it comes with a pretty good size mirror too!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush: Glisten (SGD $45) is a peachy pink with very fine gold shimmers and looks great without wearing highlighter even. It is very long wearing as it claims and it is very easy to blend without fall out, but you got to be careful a tiny bit goes a long way as it is very pigmented.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush: Exposed (SGD $45) is a matte muted nude pink that is perfect for everyday wear. Long wearing, easy to blend without fall out and great color payoff as usual.

Both are versatile and would compliment any looks and its so long wearing even on my extreme oily-combination skin. I'm thinking of getting my hands on a few more, hope that Sephora in Singapore would bring in some of the newer shades from USA.
